In cold and breezy conditions, the Villa Mara Vikings improved their overall record to 14-6 with a win over in-state rival Geneseo by the score of 38-0.
Quarterback Brianna Shalinsky was 13/16 for 153 yards with 3 touchdowns and one interception. QB/WR Alannah Bushorr was 2/3 passing with a touchdown. She also had 6 receptions for 67 yards with a touchdown and carried the ball 5 times for 48 yards and a rushing touchdown.
Keiliany Diaz led the receiving corps with five catches for 73 yards and a touchdown.
The Viking's run game was sound as Laila Adeyola carried the ball five times for 60 yards. Deja Ferguson had 3 carries for 34 yards, and two receptions for 8 yards. Ferguson had one receiving and one rushing touchdown.
Lily Runkel was the star of the day on defense as she amassed seven flag pulls and one interception for Villa Maria. Eva Torrado also had an interception for the Vikings.

The team next travels to Adrian, Michigan for the Michigan Flag Football Invitational hosted by Siena Heights University on Friday and Saturday.
