The Lady Vikings went 2-1 on the weekend as they traveled to Staten Island, NY to compete in the National Collegiate Flag Football League Regular Season Tournament. In a close semi-final game, the Vikings fell short to SUNY Cortland 14-13, concluding their run in the tournament.
Freshman standout players Alannah Bushorr (QB/WR/DB), Brianna Shalinsky (QB), Gianna Marciano (WR/DB), and Keiliany Diaz (WR/DB) were named All-Conference players in the NCFFL. The Vikings are led by this strong group of freshmen, dominating in league play going 6-1 and 17-10 overall.
Head Coach Keith Wing was also honored with being named the National Collegiate Flag Football League Coach of the Year. Coach Wing led the Vikings in a dominant season, securing the #1 overall seed heading into the playoffs. The Vikings also broke the record for points scored in a game (44).
Next up: The Vikings conclude the 2025 season with a match up against cross town rival, University of Buffalo this Friday, 2pm at Williamsville South High School.
