The Lady Vikings got back on track to finish out the 2024-25 season, beating Bryant and Stratton Albany- 52-48.  

The Vikings completed their season with a tough road win, something Coach Sordetto highlighted when reflecting on this past year,  

"We knew this year was going to be a big rebuilding season, whole new coaching staff, new team and new conference. We came out and competed, that's all I can ask for when we have been constantly battling adversity all year. To end the season on a high note, winning our last two games- we are taking all that momentum into next season." 

Lone senior Ellanda Francois certainly left her legacy with the Vikings, scoring 23 points in her last game against Bryant and Stratton Albany. "Ellanda will be very missed next season, she was our vocal leader on and off the court. Her growth this season has just been remarkable, said Coach Sordetto."  

Key Returners for next season: The lady Vikings look to junior guards Mia Special and Krismelis Melo to lead the backcourt. Rising sophomore Keiliany Diaz had a standout season with the Vikings, scoring 12 points in her career debut with the Vikings in the Spring. Diaz will be a force to watch next season. Rising senior forward Daishya Stallings, will look to complete her final season with the Vikings. Daishya recorded five double doubles for the Vikings and was a key defender in the paint.  

The Vikings look to complete their first recruiting class under Coach Sordetto this Spring and are ready to welcome in a new set of lady Vikings.
