Senior Forward Ellanda Francois, '25, had a standout performance against Bryant and Stratton Ohio, Sunday, December 8. Francois scored a career high 22 points while grabbing 11 rebounds in the contest.
"I am so proud of Ellanda's growth over the past few months. She has stepped up as a leader this season and is a big part of our rebuilding process. Ellanda has embraced all the changes this season and continues to push not only herself but her teammates every day in practice," says Head Coach Serena Sordetto.
The Lady Vikings fought hard but could not outlast Bryant and Stratton Ohio in the second half, with a final score of 91-61. Other key contributors included Junior Guard Mia Special., '26, who recorded 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Teammate Daishya Stallings, '26, (Junior, Forward) scored 14 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.
The Vikings look to bounce back on the road vs Monroe Community College for a non-league match up on Wednesday, December 11.
