Women's basketball opened the spring semester with a tough loss against cross-town rival Bryant and Stratton Buffalo with a score of 37-89.
Junior guard Mia Special led the way for the Vikings, scoring 12 points on the night. Newcomer guard Keiliany Diaz had a standout performance for her first game with the Vikings, scoring 9 points and grabbing 6 rebounds. Senior forward Ellanda Francois continues to be a force in the paint, recording a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
The Vikings look to bounce back as they continue league play this Saturday at 12pm against Five Towns College at home.
