BUFFALO, N.Y.—The Villa Maria College women's soccer team has added defensive talent to the roster as they bring in a sophomore transfer from Alfred State. Caitlin Jarosinski is a native of Honeoye, N.Y. and graduated from Honeoye High School before heading to Alfred State.
At Alfred State, Jarosinksi started in all 15 games as a freshman on the defensive line. At Honeoye high school, she was team captain and in her senior year was named First-Team All-Star for the Finger Lakes Region. She will be majoring in Interior Design.
Head Coach,
Amanda Janosky, is excited by the addition as she prepares for the 2021 fall season.
"I am ecstatic to have her join the team," coach Janosky said.
"She is a leader on and off the field and is confident on the ball. I am looking forward to her making an instant impact on the program."
