BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Villa Maria College women's soccer team competed in their second game of the season on Sunday as they hosted Lorain County Community College at Flash Fields. As the match concluded, the Vikings were on the losing end of a 9-0 score. LCCC move to 1-3-1 on the year, while Villa falls to 0-2 on the season.
Goalkeeper,
Amarylis Ramos, recorded 11 saves, nine of which came in the first half. Head coach,
Scott Laubenheimer, will have a one day break with his team as they play their third game in four days on Tuesday, September 21 when Penn State Beaver comes to town. The match will be played at 1 p.m. prior to the men's soccer game.
