BUFFALO, N.Y. – Villa Maria College's Bryan Adams (Bronx, NY) was named the North American Conference for Intercollegiate Athletics (NACIA) Men's Basketball Player of the Week for his performance in contests between Nov. 10 – Nov. 16.
 
Adams led the Vikings to a strong comeback attempt in the second half in the team's first NACIA contest and home opener when Villa outscored visiting Bloomfield College (NJ), 45-43, in the latter half on Nov. 15, primarily through Adams' efforts.
 
The 6-foot-4 senior guard finished as the game's top scorer with 30 points, but in the second-half rally, he contributed to many of his teammates' performances with four of his seven assists, five of his seven rebounds and a pair of steals.
 
The team ultimately fell to the Bears after Bloomfield had a stronger first half that made the complete comeback challenging, but the second-half rally demonstrated the Vikings' resolve and competitiveness in the NACIA.
