Raymond Sims knocked down a three to push the lead to seven. The Bobcats buckled down and kept their deficit to under five and brought it to one, but Villa began to catch fire. Fuller made three consecutive free-throws before
Jordan Heine converted a three-point play and hit a layup to bring Villa ahead 25-15 with 7:36 to play. The run continued with layups by Fuller and Holt to further extend the lead to 15 points. The Bobcats made a run to end the half and cut the Villa lead to 41-30 as the horn sounded.
The two teams traded baskets to start the second half, but the Vikings quickly pushed their advantage after back-to-back three-pointers by Sims and
Jaylin Rose. Sims then made a layup to give Villa a 19-point lead before Fuller scored a bucket to give the team a 58-37 advantage.
Jaelyn Hall, Holt and Fuller continued to make shots as the half moved along, giving their team a 25-point advantage consistently. Holt eventually brought the lead to 30 at the 2:56 mark after hitting a three-pointer, and as the clock hit zero, Villa walked away with a 94-65 victory.
