ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Villa Maria College men and women's cross-country team headed over to Roberts Weslyan College on Saturday to compete in the annual Harry F. Anderson Invitational. On a beautifully sunny day, three Vikings ran in the third competition of the 2019 campaign.
The men's side kicked it off and
Zachary Voss was the first Villa runner to cross the finish line. Voss used a time of 34:02.3 to complete the race and continues to show improvement from week to week.
Crusade McPhail was the next Vikings to finish the competition, working his way to a time of 41:00.2. On the women's side,
Azora Hoffman was the lone runner representing Villa. The junior ended the race with a time of 31:25.8.
Up net for the Vikings, is the Mike Woods Invitational, hosted by SUNY Geneseo on Saturday, Sept. 28. The first race is set to start at 11 a.m.
