BUFFALO, NY - The Villa Maria College Vikings avenged an earlier season loss, dominating the College of St. Joseph Fighting Saints this time around in a 102-77 victory on Sunday afternoon inside the Villa Athletic Center. Villa shot 53 percent and had 11 different players score as #9 Vikings picked up their second straight win and seventh victory over United States Collegiate Athletic Association Division II opponents. It's their sixth victory over a ranked USCAA team this season.
Freshman
Eric Waters (Buffalo, NY/Oracle Charter) led all scorers with 25 points while also grabbing 11 rebounds. Sophomore
Dominic Douglas (Bainbridge, GA/Bainbridge) added 20 for Villa.
The Vikings led by as many as 30 points and got 49 points from their bench. They were 29-of-35 at the free throw line and shot 58 percent from the floor in the second half. Sophomore
Malcolm Hendrick (Buffalo, NY/Cardoza) scored 12 off the bench in 14 minutes while freshman
Gerald Bibbs (Buffalo, NY/Oracle Charter) chipped in 11.

The Vikings play their final home game on Thursday, February 9th when they host NAIA foe Point Park University at 7:30 p.m. The Pioneers edged out a 87-85 win over the Vikings on January 25th in Pittsburgh.
