BUFFALO, NY - The Villa Maria Vikings picked up their seventh consecutive win on Wednesday, defeating the Southern State Patriots 85-43 as part of the Villa Holiday Classic.  

11 different players scored for the Vikings as they were paced by freshman Lonnie Taylor (Buffalo, NY/Medina High School) who picked up his sixth double-double of the season, scoring 16 points and grabbing 14 rebounds in 19 minutes.

The Vikings will host Washington Adventist University at 4 p.m. on Thursday to close out the Classic.  Washington Adventist picked up a buzzer-beating 83-80 victory over Sheridan College (ON.) yesterday in the Classic's opening game.
