CONCORD, NH - A two-point halftime deficit was turned into a 16-point second half lead as the Villa Maria College Vikings pulled away over the final 20 minutes for a 90-79 victory over New Hampshire Technical Institute on Thursday evening.
Villa, which came into the game ranked 11th in the latest United States Collegiate Athletic Association Coaches Poll, picked up it's second top-10 win in less than a week, knocking off the sixth-ranked Lynx, five days after beating #3 Williamson Free School of Mechanical Trades.

Dominic Douglas (Bainbridge, GA/Bainbridge High School) finished with a team high 17 points while freshman
Gerald Bibbs (Buffalo, NY/Oracle Charter) scored 16. Â
DeJaun Owens (Buffalo, NY/Tapestry Charter),
Justin Stokes (Buffalo, NY/Middle Early College) and
Eric Waters (Buffalo, NY/Oracle Charter) all scored 14 points a piece. Â Stokes and sophomore
Jayson Moore (Buffalo, NY/Sweet Home) each dished out six assists as well.
The Vikings scored 62 points in the paint and shot 67 percent in the second half. Â They held NHTI to just 38 percent in the second half.
The Vikings are back in action on Sunday when they travel to Jamestown to play Jamestown Community College at 3 p.m.
