SYRACUSE, NY - Despite a season-high 28 points from freshman
Eric Waters (Buffalo, NY/Oracle) the Villa Maria College Vikings were unable to erase an 11-point first halftime deficit as they say their three game winning streak snapped after falling 86-74 to SUNY Environmental Sciences and Forestry on Monday afternoon at Onondaga Community College.
The Vikings came into the game shooting over 50 percent from the floor but got just 39.2 percent of their shots to go down against ESF. Â They were just 5-of-28 from beyond the arc. Â Waters finished the game with nine rebounds and four steals to go along with 28 points. Â Fellow freshman
Gerald Bibbs (Buffalo, NY/Oracle) and sophomore
Dominic Douglas (Bainbridge, GA/Bainbridge) added 12 and 10 points respectively.
