BLOOMFIELD, N.J. – The Villa Maria College men's basketball team fell at Bloomfield College, 133-94, in a North American Conference for Intercollegiate Athletics (NACIA) contest in New Jersey on Jan. 3.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Vikings got off to a good start with the lead in the opening minutes.
- Still close at 36-34, the Bears went on a 22-4 run with six 3-pointers of the team's 20 to distance themselves in the first half.
- The Bears got nearly half their points from beyond the arc after shooting nearly 50% on 3-pointers with a 48-point difference between teams for the game.
- Bryan Adams scored a season-high 33 points for Villa.
- Maurice Woods finished with a double-double after scoring 17 points with a team-best 19 rebounds.
- In his first game this season, Jordan David-Lewis just missed a double-double with 14 points and nine boards, while adding five assists.
- Jeremiah Clarke rounded out the double-digit point scorers for the Vikings with 12.
- Villa's 94 points were just two points shy of matching the team's best offensive output this season.
