The Villa Maria Women's Flag Football team takes on the visiting Canisius University Women's Flag Football Club team today at 6 p.m. at the Sahlen's Sports Park (7070 Seneca Street) on Field No. 1 in Elma in a Fall Exhibition Contest.

It will be the first game action for the team since a 22-14 OT loss to Sienna Heights (Mich.) this past May in the National Collegiate Flag Football League (NCFFL) National Championship Tournament in Trinton Falls, New Jersey.

The Vikings had beaten Sienna Heights in NCFFL National Tournament Pool Play just a day prior to its OT loss.

The Vikings finished last season with an impressive 14-1 NCFFL conference record and went 21-4 overall. The team is preparing for its inaugural season in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) for Spring 2027.
