BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Villa Maria College women's basketball fell to visiting Bloomfield College, 114-58, in its North American Conference for Intercollegiate Athletics Division 1 opener at the Villa Athletic Center on Nov. 15.

• The Bears jumped out to a 53-35 first-half lead.
• Mia Special registered a double-double with a team-high 18 points to go with 10 boards while converting nine free throws at 75%.
• Promise Meyers also had a double-digit point performance for the Vikings with 13.
• Kiki Mercado rounded out the team's double-digit scorers with 11.
• Daishya Stallings finished with 10 rebounds, while Lyliana Edwards recorded three blocks.
