The United States Collegiate Athletic Association has just recently announced the 2025 and 2026 USCAA Basketball Small College National Championships will be held in Buffalo. As a member of the USCAA, Villa Maria College is set to host the National Tournament in the newly renovated Athletics Center.  

 Athletic Director and Men's Basketball Coach Desmond Randall comments on the exciting news of hosting the National Championship: "Bringing the National Tournament here is going to be huge for us as a college, Buffalo as a city, and the USCAA as an organization. It gives us a chance to really establish ourselves as a premier college in WNY and put on a new level of relevance athletically with other colleges in the area. It will also give us as well as the USCAA an opportunity to really show our area exactly what basketball and athletics at our level is all about." 

As the men's and women's basketball teams are getting ready to start their season in early October, this is not only motivation for each team but an exciting opportunity to showcase what being a Villa Viking is all about.
