Box Score ROCHESTER, N.Y.—The Villa Maria College men's basketball team traveled to Bryant and Stratton-Rochester on Saturday, where they played the Bobcats. It was just their second away game of the season and the last road contest was back in January. The game was a back and for battle that went into overtime. The Vikings were unable to close out the game and fell by a final score of 88-82.
 
The Vikings had a strong first half offensively, scoring 40 points as a team. They were led by Juwan Beale who collected 13 first half points. Master Radford scored in the double digits in the first half as well, knocking down five shots for ten points. The second half saw a continued dominance by Beale, finishing with 25 total points. Jaylin Rose carried over his strong shooting from last game, sinking four threes in the game, three of which came in the second half.
 
The game was tight all the way to the end, but Villa was unable to make the final shot at the end of regulation and they went into overtime with the scored tied at 80. The offense struggled in the extra period and the Bobcats were able to score just enough to win, 88-82.
 
Up next for the Vikings is an away game with Bryant and Stratton-Buffalo on Tuesday, March 9. The game is slated for a 6:30 p.m. tip-off at The Park School gym.
