BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Villa Maria College men and women's basketball team hit the road this weekend to face Ohio based teams, Ohio Christian University, University of Cincinnati-Clermont and Miami-Hamilton. It will be a litmus test of sorts for both teams.
 
Men's basketball will kick-off the games on Saturday, Dec. 11 when they play Ohio Christian University at 1 p.m. The Trailblazers have had a rough start to the season, tallying an 0-6 record heading into the matchup. The Sunday, Dec. 12 battle against Miami-Hamilton will be a different story because the Harriers have an unbeaten, 10-0 record and are ranked no. 2 in the USCAA DII Coaches Poll. 
 
Women's basketball tackles their test on Saturday against UC-Clermont, as the Cougars are ranked no. 8 in the USCAA DII Coaches Poll with a record of 5-4. The Miami-Hamilton women's basketball team are 3-10 on the season, but have gone 3-3 in their last six games, prior to the weekend
