BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Villa Maria College men's basketball team will host D'Youville College for their home opener on Saturday, Jan. 30 at 3 p.m.

Last Game Recap: In their previous matchup against Clarkson University, the Vikings fell by a final score of 101-80. As a team Villa shot 45.6 percent from the field and 38.9 percent from three. Juwan Beale scored 21 points and three separate Vikings added 12 points apiece, Trent Cordone, Kevin Good Jr. and Jeriah Williams. 
 
Scouting D'Youville: This will be the Saints first game of the season. Last year they held a record of 5-20 and 1-12 on the road. They ended their season losing eight of their last nine games. D'Youville has a young team with just two seniors and three juniors, the remaining eight players are underclassmen. 
 
Bounce Back Game: Villa will look to win their first game of the season in a similar bounce back fashion that they did last year. The Vikings were able to win games after losses nine times last year, four of which were at home.
