UNIONTOWN, PA - For the third straight year, the Villa Maria women's basketball program will play in the National Final Four. The top-seeded Vikings took down ninth-seeded Penn State Fayette 92-51 on Monday afternoon in the quarterfinals of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) National Tournament on the campus of Fayette.
Senior forward and two-time defending National Player of the Year,
Shaquana Owens, recorded a triple double with 12 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists while senior
Armoni Jordan led a five-pack of players in double-figures with 19 points.
The Vikings will take on defending national champion, Johnson and Wales University, the fourth-seeded team, in Tuesday's Final Four matchup.
