Villa upset in national quarterfinal despite 20 & 10 from Bibbs

UNIONTOWN, PA - In a tough and gritty battle, the second-seeded Villa Maria Vikings were ultimately upset, falling to tenth-seeded Vermont Tech 70-66 in a heartbreaking national quarterfinal matchup on Monday night on the campus of Penn State Fayette.

Sophomore Gerald Bibbs led Villa with 20 points and 10 rebounds.  Senior DeJaun Owens added 16 and sophomore Lonnie Taylor had a team-high 13 rebounds.
