The Vikings fell behind by double-digits early in the first half, but quickly gathered themselves and mounted a comeback. At the 11-minute mark the team was down 25-14, before
Jaylin Rose made a layup to cut the deficit to nine points. A few second later,
Raymond Sims converted a three-point play to shift the score to 25-19.
Juwan Beale continued the run with a three pointer and that was followed by a
Trayvon Holt layup to shrink the Knights lead to just one point. After a bit of back-and-forth.
Derick Simpson added a bucket of his own to give the unit their first lead of the game. When the first half ended, the Vikings led 41-40.
The lead was short lived in the second half as the Knights took control within the first couple of minutes.
