POULTNEY, VT - A trip across the state of New York ended Monday as the Villa Maria College women's soccer team dropped a 9-0 road contest to Green Mountain College.  

Megan Marafino and Josephine Capen recorded shots for Villa.  Marafino had the only shot register on net.  Renita Johnson made nine saves for Villa during the first half followed by three stops by Meghan Strain in the second half.

Villa's next game will take place on October 13th when they travel to Syracuse to take on Bryant & Stratton at 1 p.m.  That will be the final road game of the season for Villa before they close the season at home on October 18th against Mercyhurst North East at 5 p.m.
