BUFFALO, NY - The Villa Maria College Lady Vikings secured their fourth straight victory on Friday evening, defeating Jamestown Community College inside the Villa Athletic Center 83-52, completing the season-sweep in the process.
Villa (15-8) was led offensively once again by United States Collegiate Athletic Association Player of the Year candidate,
Shaquana Owens (Buffalo, NY/Tapestry) who netted 25 points and pulled down 10 rebounds. She was one of four players that scored in double-figures for Villa as they outscored the Jayhawks 44-21 in the second half.
Jamestown (6-14) committed 28 turnovers while Villa came up with 18 steals. Freshman
Armoni Jordan (Lockport, NY/South Park) led in that category with five steals, while also pouring in 19 points. Senior
Jayvonna Kincannon (Buffalo, NY/Genesee Community) had 14 points, six rebounds and five assists while freshman
Nina Cray (Wheatland, IA/Calamus-Wheatland) scored 10 points and came down with nine rebounds.
Junior
Dominique Davis (Buffalo, NY/Genesee Community) finished with eight points, seven rebounds and four assists while coming up with a few crafty finishes in the paint during the second half. Villa shot 41.6 percent from the field for the game and held Jamestown to just 29 percent. The Jayhawks were led by Tayler Morrison who scored 12 points.

The Lady Vikings will play their final home game of the season on Sunday when they host the defending USCAA II National Champions, the College of St. Joseph Fighting Saints, at 12 p.m. Villa took down CSJ in an earlier season matchup in Vermont on January 11th, 66-57.
