Box Score MEDIA, PA – The Villa Maria College Vikings took to the road and came out with an important conference victory, taking down Penn State Brandywine 88-76 on Friday night to kick off a five game road trip.
Villa (8-7), which got back over .500 on the season, improved to 3-1 in United States Collegiate Athletic Association Division II play. The 11
th ranked Vikings shot 44.9 percent from the floor but held Brandywine (2-9) to just 33.3 percent and made eight triples to the Lions' four.

DeJaun Owens (Buffalo, NY/Tapestry) led Villa offensively with 17 points as five players scored in double-figures. Sophomore
Dominic Douglas (Bainbridge, GA/Bainbridge) and freshman
Eric Waters (Buffalo, NY/Oracle) each netted 15 points. Senior
Andre Diggs (Bronx, NY/Erie Community) came off the bench to knock down four triples and score 12 points while freshman
Gerald Bibbs (Buffalo, NY/Oracle) recorded a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds.
The Vikings finish their Philadelphia road trip on Saturday with a 1 p.m. tilt against third-ranked Williamson Free School of Mechanical Trades.
