DEPEW, NY - Villa Maria College sophomore goalkeeper
Dominic Douglas (Bainbridge, GA/Bainbridge) had his third straight game of double-digit saves but it wasn't enough as the Vikings' men's soccer team dropped an 8-0 contest to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association National Runners-Up Bryant & Stratton College on Saturday afternoon at Rehm Road Park.
The Bobcats (4-0) used their speed and strength to put the offensive pressure on early. Â The Vikings (0-3) held strong as Douglas racked his season save total to 57 and were able to handle the pressure for the beginning stages of the game.
The Vikings will continue their home stretch when they host Carlow University on Saturday, September 24 at 4 p.m. Â It is the Vikings final home game of the season.
