Box Score TITUSVILLE, PA - Villa Maria sophomore DeJaun Owens scored a season-high 23 points and was a perfect 5-of-5 from beyond the arc as the Vikings picked up their first win of the 2016-17 season, dominating the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville 122-69 on Thursday night.

The Vikings had five players in double figures, but were led by Owens who had it going from the start, jump-starting the Vikings' offense.  Villa Maria head coach Don Silveri picked up his 592nd win of the season in the process as well.

The Vikings are back in action next Saturday, November 12 when they participate in the Erie Community College Tournament.  They begin play against Cuyahoga Community College.
