OLEAN, NY - The Villa Maria Vikings saw their two-game winning streak come to an end on Thursday evening as they dropped a last-second contest to the Jamestown Community College Jaguars, 85-83.

Donte Campbell (Buffalo, NY/Huch Tech) scored 18 points and also added six rebounds, four assists and three steals.Â
Villa led by 11 in the second half but a string of missed shots and conversions on the offensive end by Jamestown led to the Jaguars getting themselves back into the game. Rob Sanders led all scorers with 27 points and also added 10 rebounds. Deonn Moore-Colomb scored 26 for Jamestown.
Freshman
Dominic Douglas (Bainbridge, GA/Bainbridge) and sophomore
Justin Stokes (Buffalo, NY/Middle Early College) - who is coming off of a USCAA National Player of the Week selection - each scored in double-figures for Villa, netting 14 and 10 points respectively. Freshman
DeJaun Owens (Buffalo, NY/Tapestry) added nine points off the bench.
Stokes tied the game at 83 when he hit 1-of-2 free throws with 37 seconds left. The Vikings were able to get a stop on the next possession but couldn't secure the rebound as it went out of bounds off a Viking player with 4.6 seconds left, setting up the winning free throws.
The Vikings shot 47.6 percent from the floor while Jamestown was able to knock down 51.7 percent of it's shots. Villa out-rebounded the Jaguars 36-31 while also out-scoring them in the paint 44-38.
