FORT KENT, ME - The University of Maine at Fort Kent Bengals, ranked second in the latest USCAA I Coaches Poll, raced past the Villa Maria Lady Vikings 94-53 on Wednesday afternoon.
The Bengals (12-3) jumped out to 12-0 lead and never looked back. Â They were led by Samantha Carapellucc who scored 21 points and pulled down 11 rebounds. Â Fort Kent had five players in double figures.
Villa (11-4) was paced by junior
Jayvonna Kincannon (Buffalo, NY/Erie Community) who scored a game-high 26 points. Â Senior
Magan Campbell (Buffalo, NY/Erie Community) scored 18 points and dished out 5 assists.
Villa finishes it's three-game northeast road trip against the University of Maine Presque Isle on Thursday, December 31 at 12 p.m.
