BUFFALO, NY - Junior Magan Campbell (Buffalo, NY/Erie Community) continued her hot start to the 2015-16 season, scoring a season-high 27 points as the Villa Lady Vikings defeated Genesee Community College 74-48 on Wednesday at the Villa Athletic Center.

Campbell scored 18 of her 27 points in the second half as Villa increased it's lead from 14 to 25 in the third quarter.  Villa shot 50 percent from beyond the arc as Campbell knocked down four triples and freshman Shaquana Owens (Buffalo, NY/Tapestry) connected on five.  Owens also finished with a career-high 19 points and 8 rebounds.

Villa never trailed in the game and jumped out to a 13-2 lead 6:52 into the game.  They outscored Genesee 17-9 in the second quarter and led 30-18 at the break.

Junior guard Jayvonna Kincannon (Buffalo, NY/McKinley) scored 15 of her season-best 18 points in the second half while adding a team-high 10 rebounds.  Junior Tia Onipede (Buffalo, NY/Erie Community) was also in double-figures with 10 points.

Villa recorded 18 assists on 27 made baskets and were led by Campbell who finished with seven helpers.  They also finished with 16 steals.

Villa next takes the court on November 17th when they play at Point Park University.
