Chris Heximer comes to Villa Maria College with a strong background in athletic coaching, pedagogy in higher education, and clinical supervision. He currently serves as the clinic director and a graduate instructor in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology at SUNY Buffalo State University, where he has been employed since 2006.
Coach Heximer has coached a variety of athletic teams for 25+ years, including football, wrestling, softball, and most recently as the defensive coordinator of the Williamsville South Varsity Girls’ Flag Football team for its inaugural high school season in 2023. As a varsity wrestling coach, he was named divisional or league coach of the year four times, presented the Jon Vesper Memorial Award from the Western New York Wrestling Coaches Association, and has coached student-athletes in league, sectional, state, and national level competition.
Heximer resides in Clarence Center, NY with his wife Marilyn and their adult daughters Alexis, Katie, and Kylie. Â
