Al Monaco enters his third season as the Head Coach of the women's basketball team at Villa Maria College. He brings over 30 years of high school and college coaching experience, with 24 of those years as Head Men's Basketball Coach at Williamsville South High School.
Most recently he was the Assistant Basketball Coach for SUNY Fredonia. In addition, Monaco has served as an administrator on a number of professional associations including the Basketball Coaches Association of New York, New York State Public High School Athletic Association and NYSPHSAA Section VI basketball, currently working as the Assistant Executive Director of BCANY.
He received his B.S. in Physical Education from SUNY Cortland and his M.S. in Educational Administration from Canisius College.
