ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. – The Villa Maria College women's flag football team extended its win streak to nine games after a 46-0 victory in a non-conference game on April 3 at the Adpro Field House.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Villa scored twice from passing plays in the first quarter with receptions from Alannah Bushorr and Eva Torrado for a 14-0 lead.
- Bushorr scored her second receiving touchdown of the game to send the Vikings to a 20-0 lead at halftime.
- Morgyn Mersdorf's rushing score was Villa's lone third-quarter score to increase the Viking lead to 27-0.
- Villa opened the fourth quarter with a receiving touchdown by Layla Gallant to improve its lead to 34-0.
- The final two Villa touchdowns came by air from Angelina Green with the first to Promise Myers and second to Gallant for the 46-0 final.
- Brianna Shalinsky finished with four of the Vikings' six throwing touchdowns.
- It was Villa's third defensive shutout of the season.
