BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Villa Maria College men and women's basketball teams will host their first home games of the 2019-2020 season this weekend. 
 
The women's team kicks off their season on Saturday, Nov. 9 when they host Maine Fork Kent at 2 p.m., following a junior varsity men's basketball game at 12 p.m. They will also play on Sunday, Nov. 10 at 2 p.m against Penn State Beaver. The men's team will compete on Sunday against Bryant and Stratton Albany for their third game of the season, but first at home. 
 
Villa is offering a promotion for this Saturday's pair of home basketball games. General admissions ticket's will be $2 or you can bring in a canned good! The canned item's will be part of a Thanksgiving food drive and the item's collected will go to the Sister Mary Josette Food Pantry. 
 
On Sunday, the games will have normal priced ticket sales and they are listed below.
 
Villa Students with Villa ID: FREE
Other Students with proper school ID: FREE
General Admissions: $5
