Box Score DU BOIS, PA - The Villa Maria women's basketball team saw it's eight-game win streak snapped as they dropped a 79-74 road contest to #11 Penn State Du Bois on Tuesday night.  The #3 Vikings hadn't lost a game since December 10th and are 15-4 on the season.

Recently honors United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) National Player of the Week, Shaquana Owens, led Villa with 28 points.  The junior added six rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block.  Sophomore Nina Cray also scored in double-figures with 11 points.  Villa senior forward Clarissa Walker led Villa with 11 rebounds.

Penn State (12-5, 4-3 PSUAC) controlled the boards, out-rebounding. Villa 57-39 and 26-18 on the offensive glass.

Villa will next play on Saturday when they take on USCAA top-ranked Central Maine at 5 p.m. on a neutral floor at Sage College in Albany, NY.
