Vikings Fall to Defending National Champions Maine Fort Kent

Olmstead solid in net, helping contain Bengals

BUFFALO, NY - The Villa Maria College Vikings dropped a 6-0 women's soccer contest to the defending United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) National Champions, the University of Maine at Fort Kent Bengals on Tuesday afternoon.

Junior goalkeeper Melyssa Olmstead was spectacular, making 12 saves for the Vikings.

The Vikings are back in action on Saturday when they host Cazenovia College at 2 p.m. at Pierce Field at Mulroy Park.
