Vikings win 10th Straight at Home with Win over Sheridan

Owens records another triple-double to secure victory

BUFFALO, NY - Shaquana Owens (Buffalo, NY/Tapestry Charter) recorded a triple-double while four Vikings scored in double-figures as Villa Maria took down Sheridan College (ON.) 83-71 on Wednesday afternoon to wih it's 10th straight game at home.

Owens finished with 19 points, 16 rebounds and 11 assists while senior Clarissa Walker (Rochester, NY/Genesee Community College) and sophomore Nina Cray (Wheatland, IA/Calamus-Wheatland) each finished with double-doubles.  Walker had a career-high in points (18) and rebounds (16) while Cray finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Villa will host Sheridan again on Thursday at 12 p.m.
