BUFFALO, NY - A quick start put the Villa Maria women's soccer team behind the eight ball early and they were not able to recover, falling to Bryant & Stratton, 8-0 on Sunday afternoon at Pierce Field at Mulroy Park.

Melyssa Olmstead (Barrie, Ontario, CA/Marygrove College) eight saves as she made numerous diving and acrobatic saves throughout the contest.
Senior captain
Breanna Pangel (Holland, NY/Erie Community College) and freshman captain
Megan Marafino (Cheektowaga, NY/Cheektowaga High School) combined to take seven shots.  Pangel took four shots with all four coming on goal, while Marafino had three shots with two on goal.
UP NEXT
The Vikings are now 1-7-0 on the season and are back in action on Sunday, September 22nd when they take on NIAC opponent Fisher College.
