DEPEW, NY - The Villa Maria College women's soccer team dropped a 9-0 contest to Bryant & Stratton College at Rehm Road Park on Saturday afternoon.

After a slow start, the Lady Vikings began to muster up some offense as junior Breanna Pangel (Holland, NY/Erie Community) recorded four shots, three of which were on net.  Freshman Nina Cray (Wheatland, IA/Calamus-Wheatland) also put a shot on goal.

After a blistering start by the Bobcats (4-1-1) - who finished last season ranked sixth in the last United States Collegiate Athletic Association poll of 2015 - the Vikings were able keep them at bay in the second half, allowing just one goal over the final 45 minutes.

The Lady Vikings stay at home for their next game against Carlow University on Saturday, September 24 at 2 p.m.
