BUFFALO, NY - The top ranked team in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Women's Division II poll improved to 21-1 on the season and defeated the Villa Maria College Lady Vikings 87-56 on Sunday afternoon at the Villa Athletic Center.
Regina Steele led St. Joseph with 27 points and 21 rebounds as the Lady Vikings couldn't muster enough enough offense to rally past the Saints. Â Junior
Jayvonna Kincannon (Buffalo, NY/Erie Community) scored 21 to lead Villa while senior
Magan Campbell (Buffalo, NY/Erie Community) added 12. Â The Lady Vikings shot just 33 percent from the field for the game.
St. Joseph held a decisive edge on the glass, finishing with 65 rebounds compared to 31 for Villa.

Shaquana Owens (Buffalo, NY/Tapestry) finished with nine points, eight rebounds, four assists, four steals and two blocks. Â The Lady Vikings are next in action on Wednesday when they travel to take on SUNY Delhi at 6 p.m.
