BUFFALO, NY - Freshman
Armoni Jordan (Lockport, NY/South Park) scored a game-high 26 points and was efficient as it gets, helping the Villa Maria College Lady Vikings capture a 66-54 home victory over the Seneca College Sting on Friday night.
In Villa's first home game of the season, Jordan was 13-of-18 from the field and added six rebounds and two steals as the Lady Vikings led by as many as 22 points. Â Villa shot 46.8 percent in the second half, turning an eight-point halftime lead into 18 heading into the final quarter. Â

Shaquana Owens (Buffalo, NY/Tapestry) scored on the fast break two possessions later. Â Jordan then ripped off 10 of Villa's next 14 points, increasing the lead to 17. Â Fellow freshman
Brooklyn Jenkins (Lockport, NY/Lockport) then buried a triple from the right wing to get the lead up to 20. Â Jenkins finished with five points and a steal in just nine minutes.
Owens stuffed the stat sheet, finishing with 14 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists, four blocks and three steals. Â It marks her second double-double of the season and 12th of her young career.
Villa junior forward
Clarissa Walker (Rochester, NY/Genesee CC) finished with a season-high eight points on 4-of-6 shooting. Â She added four rebounds, a block and a steal as well. Â Freshman
Nina Cray (Wheatland, IA/Calamus-Wheatland) came off the bench and pulled down a 12 rebounds. Â The Lady Vikings finished with 18 offensive rebounds and turned those into 14 points. Â They also scored 44 points in the paint, and 24 in the fast break.
